MCC Oasis is established to provide people with a refuge from spiritual isolation – a place where seekers can immerse themselves in the Living Water of MCC vision, values, mission, and ministry.
Durham Street Methodist Church is a small community of people, who each have our own story. Collectively we share from these stories, care for and support each other to be faithful followers of Jesus of Nazareth in today’s complex world.
We are an Anglican church in central Christchurch, Merivale/St Albans. As a faith community, we are excited about what God has done through us over the years and even more excited about the years ahead!
Haere mai, welcome to St. Michael and All Angels. We are a lively, inclusive Anglican church and a beautiful sanctuary of peace in the central city of Christchurch. We are an Anglo-Catholic parish and we seek to renew people for their lives in today’s world through rich worship, spiritual formation, engagement in the arts and music, and acts of compassion.
We affirm the goodness of God’s creation in each and every human being–putting into practice our love of God and neighbour by embracing and including all in every aspect of worship regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, or faith. We seek to create a space that is safe–physically, spiritually, and emotionally–for all. We look to build God’s Kingdom here on earth not primarily through material gain or power or proselytisation but by actively seeking justice for all peoples.
We are a vibrant, progressive and inclusive Presbyterian church in the heart of Wellington, a faith community committed to acting for a just and peaceful world. Our Sunday gathering is at 10am.
Exploring new ways of being church through sacraments, social justice, friendship, new thinking, radical inclusiveness, and opening ourselves to God’s transforming presence and love in our worship and everyday life. We meet at a variety of places and time, as advertised on this group. Contact our Priest Esther Clarke-Prebble for spiritual support or to find out more about our church and what we offer.
We’re a well established congregation of the Presbyterian kind, with an open and liberal style of faith, using a traditional worship form in the main. We seek to develop and express the faith within, rather than requiring conformity to creeds and confessions of yesteryear. Faith, we believe, should be grounded in a contemporary world view. Nevertheless, we value our historical links, and see them as something to build upon. We belong to the Reformed tradition of Christianity.
