Welcome to Diverse Church
Diverse Church was established to connect with those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, takatāpui, intersex, non-binary, queer and questioning, who also hold a faith. Sexuality, Gender Identity and Spirituality are three parts of person’s identity that are equally important.
We believe that all these parts of a persons life deserve to be celebrated and a connection to a faith group or church, is one important way to connect with a great community.
All over New Zealand, people are feeling safe to speak out about their diverse sexual orientation or gender identity and are being welcomed and affirmed in their church community.
Diverse Church is a community not confined by walls but connected by our shared stories and experiences.
